MINI ICEBREAKER PRESENTATIONS

NEHS members will choose a school-appropriate topic of their choice (lit-related) and make a 2-minute powerpoint presentation on it. This is a great opportunity for members to get to know each other better, practice presentation/public speaking skills, boost creativity, and learn more about a particular book, author, etc. Everyone must choose a different topic.

This is a collection of resources, notes, and study guides created by NEHS members to help out other students. These notes can be guided to follow along the curriculum of a particular class or generalized to improve a particular skill.

SEASONAL HOLIDAY EVENTS

NEHS members will participate in various holiday projects throughout the year. Some events may include: Halloween (rewrite a scary book/movie/story), Christmas/Hanukkah (white elephant), New Years (write a letter to your future self), Valentine's Day (write poems to friends and family).

CURRENT EVENT SOCRATIC SEMINARS

NEHS members will meet to discuss different current events (lit-related and not) and share their thoughts/opinions in a socratic seminar style discussion
